Currently at State Farm, I lead teams as part of a highly-available internal cloud computing service. Teams I lead are responsible for developing dashboard applications focused on data visualization of application and infrastructure health metrics and for capacity management of the cloud infrastructure and supporting technologies. I spend a lot of time consulting with consumers of my teams' products and services, identifying new requirements, and packaging and prioritizing work efforts. In prior years, I have worked on teams engaged in technical architecture, performance engineering, performance testing and analysis, and disaster recovery.

Natural For You (naturalforyou.com) is a home-based, online, micro-business that sells high-quality natural and organic products such as soaps, lotions, candles, and organic coffee and tea. Products are sold from reputable suppliers or manufactured on site.As Owner, I am responsible for all aspects of the business, including developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, sourcing and maintaining inventory, marketing and sales, managing part-time employees, customer relations, and development of new products.I enjoy the "project" nature of operating my own business. It gives me a chance to develop ideas and drive them to conclusive results. I also enjoy getting to know my customers and hear their thoughts on our products, especially our regular return customers. But, most of all, I like that I get to grow this business with my family members who are actively involved in production and sales.
