Co-founded and led software development for the first utility-scale solar siting software platform, Smart Power Maps (SPM). SPM is a DOE Sunshot awarded software platform that enables utility-scale solar developers, financiers, and engineers to find the perfect location for new solar projects using advanced geospatial visualization, production estimation, injection capacity, and automated financial models.

7X Energy was a utility-scale solar developer that built a 9 GW pipeline through financial and software innovation. I led technological innovation and implementation. I used statistical forecasts to assemble solar power schedules. I ran automated interconnection studies and LMP simulations for every location in the United States to find ideal project locations. Finally, I supported the finalization of BP's acquisition of 7X Energy's project pipeline in 2021, resulting in BP doubling its planned utility-scale solar capacity.

Promoted from Technology Intern to Postgraduate Research Fellow to Data Scientist. Worked on data quality, acquisition, visualization and analysis for smart grid demonstration project in Austin, TX. Researched customer, utility, and third-party benefits to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and smart-grid systems. Managed database cluster and smart-grid data.

Assisted with the development and implementation of Energy Efficiency projects for utilities.

Assisted the Austin Chamber of Commerce with public policy and communication efforts related to clean energy technology commercialization.

Helped ATI analyze Cleantech patents, licenses, and resulting spin-offs across leading universities and national labs.

I completed financial and engineering analysis of municipal utility districts. I also mediated between utility board members, engineers, developers, attorneys, and consumers while ensuring environmental law compliance.

I developed cases and calculated penalties for owners and operators of facilities in violation of state environmental rules. I also wrote legal orders and advised businesses in achieving compliance with environmental laws.
