Great products have always inspired me, but it’s the peripheral experiences (some might call these the little things) that I’m interested in. This passion led me to become an interaction designer and getting an opportunity as a Product Manager really allowed me to drive a vision that resulted in a $3 million business. With the desire to craft delightful experiences combined with a propensity to keep costs down, I am an experienced Product Manager who can execute a vision, but also understand business needs and requirements.My belief is that great products extend beyond the tool, even beyond the satisfying experiences like the unboxing an Apple product or the smell of a brand new pair of Nikes. Behind great products are great people and I’m fortunate to have had the opportunity to recruit and work on a team with 20+ of the most talented engineers, designers and managers. A great product also extends into its communities where I had the privilege of collaborating with thousands of amazing clients to shape and develop a tool that 300+ broker-dealers in the US and Canada rely on to keep them compliant.As a data-driven Product Manager in Fintech, I have spent countless hours with analytics and focused on improving business KPIs. Quantitative data helped me spot trends, but qualitative data like speaking with broker-dealers and their advisors (B2B2C business model) allowed me to validate them. Executing upon our hypotheses to ship often and iterate quickly allowed us to maintain a high rate of user engagement - especially for a CMS. With a cross-functional product team running an agile product development cycle, we were strategic in improving our KPIs like lowering churn rate, reducing the cost of acquisition to improve the overall LTV:CAC ratio in a way that accelerated growth, but maintained stability. Working with partners to develop integrations allowed us to introduce new plans, making our product stickier and drastically increasing our ACVs. Our consistency was recognized when we were named as one of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies in 2017, 2018 and 2019 for revenue growth over the past 5 years.I’m an outdoorsy person and you can find me lost on a hike in the woods with my dog. My curiosity goes beyond products and I love exploring our beautiful backyard that is Vancouver, BC. I’m on a quest to read a book a week in 2021 (ask me how I’m doing!), but will set it aside to catch an NFL game or an F1 race.
