I’ve always had a passion for Concert Lighting, and it shows in the development of my artistic point of view that is distinctly my own. I’ve always felt that clean, simple designs that adhere to the artist deliver the biggest visual impact for an audience. Technology is a tool, not an end. It’s the way that you use it all (whatever the budget allows), and that must be in sync with the artist if I’m a designing or in line with the designer if I’m directing. I never forget that it’s not my show – my role is to realize the overall vision.I was fortunate to start with quality music acts, starting with Pearl Jam, Bonnie Raitt, and Elton John. The chain reaction has lead through a variety of amazing experiences, including a recent world tour with Fleetwood Mac. Through it all, I learned an important lesson I carry with me to each and every job: At the end of the day, this business is really about personalities – the artist, the crew, the management. I am knowledgeable about gear and confident in my skills; but I believe my ability to get along allows me to contribute to the greater sum of any production.I love the art of collaboration and I look forward to discussing how I can help with your event in any number of capacities.
