Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) scheduling and support at Carrier Strike Group Four in support of the US Fleet Forces Command Fleet Training Omnibus.

• Supported the Navy’s Fleet Readiness and Training Plan (FRTP) by planning, executing, and assessing 17 integrated training exercises for Atlantic Fleet Carrier Strike Groups, Amphibious Readiness Groups and independently deploying ships. Scripted and coordinated 50+ training events covering multiple surface warfare areas for over 100 ships. • Served as the U. S. Navy’s liaison to the Royal Navy’s Joint Tactical Exercise Planning Staff; deeply involved in the coordination for participation and deployment certification of 10+ U. S. Ships in the Royal Navy’s bi-annual, multi-national training exercise.

• Supported the Commander, United States Central Command Special Plans Working Group by pulling together information from various disparate organizations to answer specific questions asked at the highest levels of government. Demonstrated critical reasoning skills and a unique ability to break down complex issues into understandable component elements for senior leadership. • Played an integral role in the development and socialization of the nation’s highest priority Operation Plan involving Joint, Interagency and Multinational actors. • As the lead Strategic Planner for Ballistic Missile Defense, work products were presented to both the National Security Staff and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

• Supported the Navy’s Fleet Readiness Training Plan (FRTP) by teaching and mentoring over 700 students of all ranks through classroom training, synthetic training events and live training exercises. • Served as the Senior Assessor for a team of 20+ military service members on seven different ships during their final deployment certification exercises; always the command’s first choice for underway assessment. • Facilitated numerous courses and synthetic training events as a Surface Warfare Instructor teaching ships and strike group staffs at all stages of their training cycle. • Maintained a perfect record as the command safety officer with zero incidents over a two-year period through a combination of safety stand-downs, periodic safety notes, and safety inspections.

• Supervised 10 military personnel spread over 3 locations in Iraq as the Contracting Officer’s Representative. Safeguarded the Defense Working Capital Fund energy inventory comprising 70% of the Department of Defense fuel storage capacity in Iraq. • Accounted for over 500 million gallons of fuel transferred over a seven-month period and realized over $20 Million in annual savings by correcting inefficiencies and uncovering thefts. • Supervised the redesign of the world’s largest tactical petroleum terminal in preparation for the relocation of a bulk fuel facility in southern Iraq.

Responsible for maintaining all of the ship's damage control equipment and for training the ship's crew in how to fight fires and minimize flooding so that the ship can continue to fight.
