CurrentChris Makos has over 25 years of professional experience in the real estate & financial services industries. Makos has knowledge and experience in all facets of real estate development, financing, sales, marketing, leasing and management, as well as possessing the ability to evaluate the highest and best use for varying property types. Makos has successfully negotiated and structured the purchase and sales terms for several acquisitions and ground up developments in New York City and South Florida, while forging longstanding relationships with top-tier institutional investors, lenders, commercial property owners and brokers.Prior to Dynamic Star, Makos spent a decade on Wall Street as both a FINRA licensed securities trader and SEC Registered Investment Adviser (RIA). In that time, he developed strong financial analysis, risk management and research skills, as well as a passion for tracking macro-economic data and global capital markets trends. In 2001, Makos founded Insight Capital Management LLC, a $30 million (AUM) advisory firm offering a diverse range of merchant banking and financial services to corporations, institutional investors and high net worth individuals. Insight Capital Management has provided financing and strategic business advice to publicly traded and privately held companies in the internet, energy, defense, education, and biotechnology sectors.Makos received his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science & Economics from New York University '92 and attended the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at New York University.
