Semi-retired, I've ventured back into Consultancy to work on interesting projects both as self-employed and in partnership with the teams at Launch Pharm and Let's Health. I am loving working on stimulating and challenging projects where, hopefully, I can add value and creativity in strategic plan and brand development. I'd love to hear from friends and colleagues, past and present, if you think I can help you and where I can give something back especially to those who have made my career so fulfilling. Steeped in consumer and healthcare marketing, I like to think that I am still a brands marketer through-and-through with a creative yet practical approach to the nurturing and development of brands based upon sound strategy, compelling brand positioning, sustainable differentiation and consistency of communication. My role at AbbVie involved me in biopharmaceuticals. My responsibilities included strategy, harnessing the magic of HUMIRA with a unified, complete brand identity, managing global internal Medical/Marketing events and working with teams around the world to introduce valued product enhancements whilst working on brand development across some of the existing and pipeline assets. My previous role at MSI (now Cello Health) focused on consultancy within the pharmaceuticals and healthcare markets. Working around the world gave me the opportunity to be involved in many different therapy areas on brand development, strategic consultancy, segmentation, market research and marketing training in both prescription medicines and OTC healthcare. In my capacity as a new product development consultant, I have been fortunate to have been part of the teams that developed and launched some of today’s best-known brands (including Orange, Persil Tablets, Anchor Spreadable Butter, BBC 24 Hour News and Radio 5Live). Prior to my consultancy career, my fmcg sales and marketing experience included Cadbury, Nestle, Lyons Tetley and Watney Mann & Truman Brewers with P&L and strategy responsibilities.
