Born in Michigan, graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School in '80. Attended Central Michigan University, joined Theta Chi Fraternity (Epsilon-Upsilon) chapter, graduated in '84 with a degree in Broadcast Communications and Marketing. Started working at Y&R advertising agency, then transferred to a local agency in Tampa FL. Met my wife who had just graduated from Florida, Yes a Gator. Married 28 years have two daughters one is a junior at UMD and the other will be a freshman at St Thomas University. I left the advertising world and moved to MN. and started in the financial field, which I personally find much more fulfilling. Prudential was my first company, great training program. My passions led me to more advanced financial strategies so I moved on to Foster-Klima/Guardian agency, again another great learning experience for about 17 years. But when the agency decided to move downtown I opened my own practice. Joining a medium sized broker-dealer out of Green Bay WI. (KCD Financial, LLC) who has a strong focus on alternative investments and always keeps the client an RR first when conducting business. That's why I've been with them for 11 years now.
