As a member of the executive leadership team, I have P&L oversight and provide strategic financial support to Simon Group Holdings (SGH) leadership as well as the nearly 30 family and partner companies, and investments. This includes overseeing the finance group, compliance, strategic planning and digital marketing. Simon Group Holdings was created in 1985 with the founding of Atlas Oil Company by Sam Simon. SGH has interests in comprehensive energy solutions; fuel supply; oil field services; logistics and transportation; real estate investment; private equity; technology services; and turnkey modular solutions. Its growth is fueled by more than 40 years of successful operational entrepreneurship, which has resulted in the creation of three new businesses since 2014, along with significant investments in three additional companies.

Vixta delivers an innovative combination of “new game” strategic consulting, digital platforms, and smart enterprise (big data insights) solutions. It is a subsidiary of Simon Group Holdings, $2B USD private holdings company with interests in energy, logistics, technology and private equity. In partnership with Prof. Gordon Hewitt, Vixta helps clients profit from market disruption, creating and executing a “new game” approach to strategy. The Digital Solutions practice helps create the next digital enterprise with ground breaking ideas for building “game changing” platforms and networks. The Smart Enterprises practice helps clients deliver smart offerings for their customers by converting data into competitive value and manage ecosystems for the digital world.

I was a key participant in the launch of eLUXE 3D, a 3-dimensional scanning start-up. I helped the company become a high performing small business with reverse modeling and virtual design capabilities.My roles included financial oversight, corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities. I was a strategic partner to a spectrum of manufacturers and oversaw sales, profitability, client recruitment objectives and marketing.

This unique role placed me under the guidance of Atlas Oil and Simon Group Holdings Founder and Chairman Sam Simon. Supported leadership on strategic growth activities centered on achieving exponential growth of core business throughout the United States as well as identifying opportunities outside of the core corporate business units. Analyzed business unit trends, opportunities, threats; and translated financial analysis into actionable plans, through development and implementation of key performance indicators for each of the five business units.Worked with projects team to determine new business growth strategy, resulting in decision to expand Tankwagon and Fleet Fueling business line into the southeastern United States; and Crude Hauling line expansion in Texas and Ohio. Included creation of project management report consisting of operational overview; critical path dashboard; and financial budget and forecast, which was used to manage expansion into Crude Hauling and Tankwagon business lines.Created and implemented business line “Mini P&L” a volume, revenue and expense projection report based on actual volumes at a given point in time, developed into a live dashboard accessible remotely by senior leadership.

Subject Matter Expert over Steel Resale Program which consisted of approximately $1.9 Billion in annual sales. Responsible for the set up and maintenance of Steel Resale Consignment Inventory Accounts, as well as supervising analysts assigned to reconciliation of accounts. Hosted monthly account reconciliation meetings implementing a new approach, which resulted in addressing variances in a more timely and effective manner. This led to a significant reduction in the average age of the outstanding items. Identified and implemented improvements in work processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations through elimination of manual exercises which are substituted by automated processes. Supported Corporate Material Brokering’s business partner, Global Purchasing Supply Chain, by developing a presentation for all new and existing participants of the Steel Resale Program. Demonstrated the rules, guidelines and processes related to the accounting and financial reporting of the program.Routinely executed analytical reviews, in one circumstance resulting in the identification and valuation of fraudulent behavior by a steel processor.

Supervised audit teams and provided attest services for public and private companies, including tier I and II automotive suppliers, real-estate developers, medical service providers and energy producers.
