Mr. Christopher Mayhan has been an active duty member of the United States Navy from 20 March 2012 to present time and is currently assigned as an Aviation Machinist Mate. He has earned the following NEC’s: 8820 (E-2D Aircraft Systems Maintenance Technician) 24 months experience, NEC-E06A (E-2C Aircraft Systems Maintenance Technician) 24 months experience, NEC-E10A (C-40A Systems Maintenance Technician) 36 months experience, NEC-04A (MH-53E Systems Maintenance Technician) 18 months experience. It is common practice for naval aviation maintenance personnel to work outside their primary ratings in order to maintain the fleet of naval aircraft. Christopher Mayhan has more than 10 years of hands-on practical aviation maintenance experience maintaining C-40A Clipper, C-2A Greyhound, E-2C & E-2D Hawkeye and MH-53E Sea Dragon aircraft.
