Permian Delaware Basin, Powder River Basin.- 1.5 years in North Texas Business Unit focusing on Barnett Shale Refrac Program, mapping and characterizing up-hole potential, and geosteering.

Summer position in Integrated Geosciences and Exploration Strategic Services. Project Topic: Evaluating Geology and Geochemistry Data from the Avalon Shale in the Delaware Basin of New Mexico and Texas to Determine Prospective Areas.

Assisted in a Geoarcheologic project to determine the origin of volcanic ash found in Maya pottery. Involved chemical analysis of archeological samples, petrographic and mineralogical analysis, database management, preparing media for presentations.
