Thalia Brands, Inc., a premium guitar accessories & lifestyle brand that sells direct-to-consumer via e-commerce. Thalia was launched with a kickstarter in 2013 and quickly grew to become the premier guitar accessories and lifestyle brand with a host of major innovations in capos, picks, slides, phone cases and lifestyle apparel. Thalia products are patented and have won multiple design awards including a GOOD DESIGN award, the INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARD, an EDISON AWARD and the RED DOT AWARD. I negotiated exclusive licensing deals with Gibson, Martin and Taylor guitar brands to extend Thalia into a range of lifestyle categories. Acquired by Delmar, Inc. in December 2022.

Hubsmith was an early-stage Internet software startup that pioneered many new SaaS services in the B2B online trading, private/crypto currency and online auction markets for major technology companies including Sun Microsystems. Created and led a java-based development team, raised angel investment capital and led the company through a number of critical pivots before transitioning to a consulting model in 2002.

Major achievements include the creation of the world's first B2B reverse online auctions in a range of categories including logistics, components, and services. Established the first online B2B marketplace in high tech for trading components including memory, CPUs, and other high value components. This division was ultimately spun-out of HP in June 2000 to form a consortium exchange with a $100M investment by HP, Compaq, Agilent Technologies, AMD, Canon, Gateway, Hitachi, NEC, Quantum, Samsung Electronics, SCI Systems, Solectron, Sumimoto, Synnex/Mitac, Tatung and Western Digital. Prior HP work experience included a variety of positions in progressive levels of responsibility in disciplines including finance, marketing and supply chain across printing, computing and distribution businesses.
