Consolidated eApp – Designing, developing (in C#), an ASP.NET MVC web application (.NET 4.5) which will replace the life insurance agent’s current smart client applications. The product will also greatly reduce time to market for products of each state. Implementing front end functionality using the MVVM and MVC pattern using Knockout JS with Views ( in Razor ) and extensive JavaScript/JQuery in the client side. Creating the View Models to provide the two way data binding. Utilizing a combination of Bootstrap and CSS3 for the layout of pages. Creating and developing the code (in C#) in the controllers, to access the data through SOA interfaces developed by the back end team. As a member of the UI team, I designed and developed several pages for the extended web wireframe mockups for the initial prototype for our CE application. Added value to our CE web application,by making recommendations to improve the look and feel of our applications – and applying good design principles. Developed a foundational style sheet which is being used as the master layout of our CE pages. This style sheet also will allow future theming and branding of other company CE implementations. Developing necessary client side scripting in JQuery/JavaScript to handle various complex scenarios needed to meet the business requirements and enhance the user experience. Web application replaces the manual process and we provided a solution based on requirements we gathered in ongoing user meetings. I provided many of the suggestions and ideas of the user interface, which were implemented. Technologies utilized included: ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript/JQuery, WCF, and Entity Framework. Alacriti Integration Project – Developed a windows service (in C#), which handled the information transfer with our new credit card vendor Alacriti project. This involved implementing technical facets such as cryptography and SFTP File Transfer. I was quick to research and learn these new concepts, and determine what needed to be done, and implement a solution. Project was successfully implemented on August 2012.

Analyzed and modified code in C# for client LifeSync (subsidiary of Humana). Created and modified SQL Server stored procedures. • All changes were solutions to production issues for the application that handled the processing of health care claims transmitted via EDI.

Handled the promotions of several applications to production, which involved cross-team coordination to ensure all applications were successfully implemented.UC4OnDemand – Co-architected, developed, and implemented an ASP.NET web application which was data-driven. It provided a maintenance page where an administrator could set up jobs, which included any parameters necessary to run a job. When a user loaded a job to execute, the controls were dynamically built. Technologies utilized included: ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, and LINQ to SQL.• This solution allowed a user to set up the job through the web application very quickly (only several minutes). Previously, a new web page had to be created, which took several weeks or even months to develop.Well Information Reconciliation – Converted a Visual Basic application to an ASP.NET web application, which provided a report of discrepancies between the wells selected by the user. Technologies utilized included ASP.NET, C#, JQuery, and SQL Server.• This solution enabled the users to generate the report, and the results are emailed to the user when processing was complete. This prevented the user from having to wait several minutes for the windows application to finish processing. Deploying the application to the web also eased implementation.

Initiated and introduced technologies new to NCEL’s MIS Department.Educational Assistance Application – Designed, developed (in C#), and implemented an ASP.NET web application that allows NCEL employees to submit and track requests online for educational assistance. Provided an automated workflow for management to approve or deny requests and/or reimbursements. • This high-profile project automated and streamlined a paper-based process, and is used by all NCEL associates. Finance Inventory Scanner Application – Designed, developed (in C#), and implemented an ASP.NET Windows applicationthat automated Finance Department equipment-inventory audits. • The application now handles all inventory scenarios, greatly reduces audit time, and substantially improves accuracy.

People Online Processing System – Added functionality to POPS, allowing local, national, military, and contractor associates to be hired through the application. Total Mortgage Solution – Analyzed changes needed for this point-of-sale application; proposed and implemented coding solutions; and completed enhancements, fixing and significantly improving the application. Modified the interfaces using XML, XSL, HTML, and JavaScript. Altered the server-side pages using VBScript. Changed the ActiveX components using Visual Basic. Developed, unit-tested, and integrated dynamic web pages with server-side procedures in a component-based development environment.
