Developed and deployed new digital services to add to and complement Winning Connections' industry leading phone services. Supported democratic campaigns and non-profit advocacy clients with their overall digital strategy, and execution of their online electoral and advocacy campaigns.

Contracted to serve as Digital Director for a electoral campaign in the Caribbean. Managed the party's website, broadcast emails, and social media over the course of a 30-day campaign. Managed the setup of the country's voter file in VAN and trained campaign staff on data entry and election day GOTV procedures. We won.

I managed the development of advocacy networks, connecting and supporting issue leaders through capacity building online campaigns, services and support. I worked closely with foundations to identify opportunities for potential network development, writing grants and obtaining the needed resources to undertake the work of network building. Projects included PreventObesity.net, a national network connecting leaders in the fight against childhood obesity, the Moving Maryland Forward Network, a statewide network connecting progressive advocates acress Maryland, and most recently the Halt the Harm Network, a national network connecting leaders working in the movement to halt the harms of fracking.

I led a team of five designers and Drupal developers that supported more than 200 active Democratic campaign, party and progressive non-profit websites. We typically had 30-50 website projects in our development pipeline at any given time. Additionally we provided strategic support to assist every aspect of our clients’ New Media campaigns. Our work was recognized with Pollie, Reed and Golden Dot awards.

I was a successful, self-employed Democratic Internet consultant. Clients included Senate candidates Clinton, Kennedy & Robb, Janet Reno for Governor, Sen. Daschle’s Leadership PAC, and the Democratic National Committee. Our use of flash landing pages with audio, interactive maps, and also supporter generated content were noteworthy innovations.

My job with the Democratic Technology & Communications Committee can best be described as being an Internet Evangelist and Developer in support of each of the Democratic members of the Senate. Assistance was provided with the development of the Senators online efforts, particularly their web sites, and any online events in which they might participate.

My job was to keep our office LAN of Macs up and running. But thanks to help from student's at MIT's Artificial Intelligence Lab, I helped make Sen. Kennedy the first member of Congress to have a website.

I worked with a variety of clients, including the Republic of China's (Taiwan) Washington DC office, and the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in DC, supporting projects that promoted their work and interests. Projects included Taiwan's Buy American trade missions, and a national tour of the cultural exhibition, Saudi Arabia: Yesterday and Today.
