Project was primarily focused on delivery of 2 No. Bunkers, constructed using Slipform Technology.This was delivered on a very tight schedule, with over 7000m3 of concrete poured into walls rising as high as 30metres over a 12 week programme.The project was handed over on time, thanks to 24hr continuous pouring, with a skeleton team of only myself and one other Engineer.Other elements of this project included columns and slabs which were poured traditionally concurrently with the ongoing Slipform Operations.

Site EngineerBam Contractors Jul 2012 - Jul 2014Derry, Ireland & Borders, ScotlandA5WTC - Section 1 - (Derry, Ireland) Dual Carriageway Site PrelimsThis was a broad role where responsibilities ranged from Foreman on site, overseeing establishment of site access and clearance, to assisting the QS with tenders, and also creating and introducing Quality and Environmental Assurance Procedures for the project moving forward.Borders Railway - (Borders, Scotland) - Structures TeamAs a member of the Structures Team, I had 10 no. structures; consisting of In-Situ Concrete, Precast Concrete, Steel, Culverts and Masonry Refurbishment.Works largely consisted off in-situ concrete works - using PERI Formwork and Timber Shuttering, Along with enabling earthworks and drainage prior. However, refurbishment of existing over and under-bridges (including a 700m long viaduct) provided great experience in masonry works and repair. Many of these bridges also required underpinning with track troughs, which was an excellent learning opportunity. -
