The testing involved client-server based billing, rating and accounting packages developed under Access version 2.0, Oracle version 7.3, Oracle Forms, SQL Server and Visual Basic running under Windows 3.11 and mostly Windows NT 4.0, as well as Compaq UNIX on an Alpha. Later involved in E2E testing of the re-engineering of the whole of Elf at Home’s CRM, billing and accounting systems for its domestic customers using principally the SCT product Banner. Tested the upgrade of Banner to Oracle 7.3.4. Used FTP extensively. The next project involved testing a similar re-engineering for Elf Business Energy on its industrial customer base. Also tested data migration to a new HelpDesk. Moved on to verifying Y2K compliance of all Elf’s principal domestic and industrial applications. Faults were logged on Lotus Notes.
