For as long as I can remember, I was always looking for the quickest path from point a to point b. Literally, if I was walking to a friends house I would cut corners and cross streets diagonally to make the quickest time. This propensity to seek the out the most efficient solution for, or design of business problems and products has driven me throughout my career.I love working at startups and building businesses. In 2005, I started on the phones at a small telecom company. Within a few months I was building processes and procedures which laid the ground work needed to enable the hyper growth yet to come. in 18 months the company would grow from 3k subscribers to roughly 200k. Head count increased from 20 to over 1500. I was fortunate to have the freedom to work cross functionally with every business unit, while managing dev ops, business ops and technical projects (among others).All along, data has always been a passion of mine. Business Intelligence was a natural progression for me. So I was thrilled at the opportunity to work at a startup building data driven solutions for the health club industry. Over the years, I've had my share of "thunderdome" experiences (if you know you know). These have taught me a lot about myself. They are below in no particular order:- Proven ability to scale teams, products and companies- Bi-Lingual (tech and exec) - I'm a generalist - I may not be the best in any one thing, but I'm pretty good at many and never complacent about improving- Big believer in extreme ownership (book by Jocko Willink)- I Love a challenge.
