Using Java, Hadoop, and HBase, developed:- Machine learning/natural language processing features including sentiment classification, quote identification, attribution, and evaluation using WEKA;- RESTful web APIs using OAuth1 with Jersey 2 and Grizzly2;- Test utilities and maintenance scripts using Python.

Evaluated multi-lingual sentiment polarity classification of restaurant reviews using machine translation as a researcher at InfoGlutton (acquired by MediaMiser in 2012) using Java.

As master's student, researched methods of automatically identifying successful Google AdWords for websites using keyphrase extraction, machine learning, and natural language processing in Java and Python. Performed under Prof. Diana Inkpen in partnership with Apption Inc.

As a master's student, presented tutorials and performed marking for the "Operating Systems and Databases"​ course taught by prof. Chung-Horng Lung. Tutorial's were given in C in Linux on signal handling, forking, message queues, shared memory, semaphores, mutexes, threads, sockets, etc.

Designed and developed features for encryption related Windows desktop applications using using MS Visual C++ including Entelligence Security Provider for Windows 9.0 and Outlook 8.0.
