Led corporate social responsibility program for a large regional health system. Launched new signature programs in schools, faith communities, and neighborhoods. Developed, maintained, and evaluated strategic partnerships with local government and community-based non-profit organizations. Led a high-performing dispersed team of approximately 40 including regional Community Health Departments, the Atlantic Center for Population Health Sciences, and the Center for Faith & Health.

Nurtured external partnerships and secured funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Build Health Challenge. Took organization from nine partners to over 150 and grew budget by more than 100%.

Led statewide public health campaigns to reduce health disparities and promote health equity.* Published series of issue briefs, reports, and health disparities report cards on health issues including infant mortality, diabetes, and heart disease for policymakers and public health organizations.* Established partnerships with diverse array of stakeholders including public health officials, legislators, non-profit organizations, federally-qualified health centers, and tribal organizations.* Developed state action plan for critical health literacy.* Led statewide “Voices for Health Equity” campaign. Led mixed-methods evaluation of federally funded college access program targeting youth in foster care. Transformed evaluation process to produce reliable data, maximize staff buy-in, and demonstrateoutcomes that were presented to funders and at national conferences.
