Initially software developer and eventually lead architect on FannieMae's real time trading systems. Fannie Mae has been a client of my companies since 1991.

Served as Engagement Lead, Solution Architect, Subject Matter Expert, and Project Manager for Freddie Mac's financial restatement including design, development, and execution of new accounting processes for capital markets/portfolio management business segments. Rebuilt rebuild retained portfolio accounting and subledger systems, control frameworks, and accounting processes. Led teams re-engineering Middle and Back office systems and processes from trade capture through accounting.Team lead on large Sarbanes-Oxley process analysis, mapping, and controls modeling effort. Worked with Blackrock Aladdin team to integrate securities portfolio accounting solution (Eagle's PACE and STAR systems).

Re-joined Appix to Lead the Financial Solutions Group. Was lead architect and Product Manager for the Appix Financial Solutions Framework, a software suite providing transaction processing and operational system of record functionality for fixed income trading and treasure desk operations. Led teams delivering technology solutions to Banks, Brokerages, GSE, Hedge Funds and Mortgage Companies.

Chief Technology Officer for an online investment bank providing business loans and information to middle market companies. Led technology team of 30 developers + engineers; oversaw development of deal pipeline management system, websites, online streaming media.Raised $15MM.

Co-Founder and President of Appix, a mortgage and fixed income products and services firm. Led the firm’s Mortgage Solutions practice and led development of the firm’s mortgage collateral management and electronic mortgage trading product suite. Significant customer installations and solution clients included Fannie Mae, Countrywide Securities Corporation, Citadel, E*Trade Global Asset Management, broker/dealers and asset managers.Sold the firm in 2000 to ATS, Inc. of McLean VA.
