Led the Development Team for VIBE as the project modernized from an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB-VIBE) framework to an AWS cloud-based Enterprise Gateway of hosted web services (EGIS-VIBE), which initially involved maintaining two applications - one Tibco-based and one web-service-based - while the Tibco services were phased out and converted into micro-services. The back-end databases were also migrated from a data center to cloud-based environments.In addition to this modernization effort the team continued with developing additional functionality to support USCIS Service Center Operations in their mission to adjudicate work-related employment benefits, including two new interfaces with the Department of Labor, which allowed users to view and download DOL Labor Certifications in VIBE which previously had to be requested by email (DOL was able to successfully decommission this process after requests dropped from over 4,000 a year to less than 40, which they attributed to our interface).

Provided Support and facilitated the agile process for the ESB-VIBE development team, which resulted in over 70 successful Production releases over a 4.5 year period. Removed any obstacles and external interference fro the team, as well as resolved issues that would otherwise impede the team's success. As a result, the ESB-VIBE project received the USCIS Director's Pioneer Award in 2018.

Supported the USCIS Office of Information Technology (OIT) as Scrum Master of the development team for ESB-VIBE, part of the Risk & Fraud As a Service (RFaaS) Project.Led team in deploying 14 releases (6 with sprints, 8 with Kanban) over two 6-month intervals, which introduced users to several new capabilities and dozens of other fixes, enhancements, and performance improvements. The team was awarded the USCIS OIT Agile Bear Award in 2015.Assisted with determining requirements and business needs through continuous engagement with the business product owner; identified resources required and removed any impediments blocking the team's progress; worked with developers and testers on systems integration and obtaining test data.Facilitated daily scrum meetings, user story demonstrations, release reviews and retrospectives, and coordinated with the Release Management team to prepare and organize all deliverables required to receive approval for deployment to Production; supported the O&M team in troubleshooting production issues, and provided the client with results to database queries that were too complex for the standard reporting application.
