The Specialized Lending Support Officer position assists the Director of Participations and Syndications in crafting and maintaining our position as a strong lead bank. Duties include professional communication and timely reporting to partner banks, internal communication with Commercial Lenders, Commercial Services and Loan Servicing relative to servicing of the portfolio. Global portfolio management and support of our purchased book of business and various other risk management duties that will assist the Director of Participations and Syndications and Senior Management better manage the commercial portfolio.

Reporting directly to the Senior EVP/Chief Commercial Banking Officer Joe Dell, I was responsible for all technology associated with the commercial lending process and vendor management. This required an understanding of the entire commercial lending workflow to be able to design and refine the process, including primarily working with lenders, portfolio managers, and credit to understand user needs. I was the project manager of the bank’s first automated credit decision commercial lending platform; additionally, I identified the need for and led ongoing projects to refine workflow efficiencies and gain new functionalities. To assist with technology utilization, I trained on the commercial lending workflow to leverage the support of technology to improve efficiencies and make use of data to improve competitive decision-making.

Volunteered as the Board VP of the LoanVantage User Group that consisted of financial institutions using the vendor software platform of Jack Henry's LoanVantage. The goal of the group is to organize a voice for the users to advocate for enhancements to keep up with the fast pace of fintech (financial technology), to collaborate on best practices, and to organize annual conferences which LoanVantage attended and utilized for training and road mapping.
