About Chris Molony

Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked in a range of leadership roles in the IT space in project, program and portfolio management across a range of industries. I’m known by my colleagues as a pragmatic and motivated leader and problem solver who thrives in IT managerial roles where I can direct and deliver large scale digital transformation initiatives. During my career, I’ve led and executed a range of successful IT projects, programs and PMO functions, such as leading the project management and PMO team across the ANZ region for Dedalus and the DXC Technology Healthcare business. I’ve also worked with major banking and financial services companies (MLC, NAB, Westpac and AMP) during my time at IBM and DXC. I'm currently a senior manager in the IT Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) at Transport for NSW, which oversees a massive portfolio of more than 500 active projects with several hundred million dollars of annual spend.I enjoy building strong working relationships with colleagues to meet and exceed KPIs and drive business growth. As a leader, I achieve this by organising my time effectively and leading teams through clear and concise communication and plans. While I take my job seriously, I don’t take myself too seriously, and like to be upbeat, open and approachable to all colleagues and clients.
