Hi I’m Christopher McCormick, a User Experience designer with a background in digital marketing, photography and music education. The skills I have developed throughout my varied career have made me empathetic to users experiences & for finding creative ways to solve digital design problems. I really feel I can bring these attributes to your project and make valuable contributions. Recently I have worked as a UX designer for STRATOS where I was brought on board to improve their digital presence, Information Architecture and digital marketing strategies. This has included me reviewing the website to improve the user experience and to bring it inline with what they would expect to see. Using metrics I was able to monitor improvements & also get user feedback on the platform. This was included in future development plans. In 2018 I embarked on the year long CareerFoundry UX Designer course which helped me fill in knowledge gaps so that I could further help businesses improve their sales and user experiences. As a UX designer I am now looking to work for companies with a view to helping develop digital products and driving sales by user testing, and focusing on the core users to make for a seamless and positive experience.
