Lumo is Australia’s 4th largest energy retailing business and has over 550,000 retail customers. The 100% subsidiary, DCA operates Australia's largest home moving and connection services business. Lumo also conducts wholesale energy procurement, trading and risk management activities and operates three electricity- generating power stations.Responsibilities and Achievements:- Establishment of legal function within Lumo Group, Responsibility for Budgeting and cost control- Management and control of external legal resources, litigation and disputes- Sales and marketing advice - unsolicited marketing and selling, on line and digital marketing, social media, Velocity Frequent Flyer program, the promotion of Energy Plans,'pay on time discounts, "Always on Guarantee", on line shopping, gifts and rewards, Sign off of all new products/campaigns and promotional and marketing material.- Contract - drafting and settling key contracts including consumer, third party vendor and supply agreements, Negotiating and documenting corporate transactions.- Negotiation of many Gas Sale and Transport Agreements, ISDA's, Green/State energy schemes.- Preparation of numerous tender documents. Preparation of tender documents, construction contracts and operating agreements for expansion of capacity and operation of generation plants.- IT - Procurement and Tenders, Software licences, Maintenance Agreements and Systems. Negotiation of many technology outsourcing agreements including Optus, Interactive Intelligence, Salesforce, Blue Wolf, Agility, Pantha, M2 and Telstra.- Compliance with ACCC, Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading. Conduct of negotiations with ACCC. Compliance with Privacy, Spam, Consumer Credit, OH&S , NECF and AFSL requirements- Intellectual Property, trademarks and brand protection. Re-branding of Victoria Electricity to Lumo Energy. Numerous Real Property matters;- Participation in VDD for the sale of Lumo Group to Snowy Hydro Limited (Nov 2014)
