The site's coverage focus includes the technical advancements fueling innovation in the design, development, and contract manufacturing aspects of medical devices and equipment. The strategy was simple: Provide engaging, useful news pointing out the new technologies and warning about the challenges and pitfalls for engineers and designers create the next generation of life-saving devices. It was a winning strategy: MDO's monthly page views grew tenfold over three years — to an average 200,000 unique page views per month!Managed a team including a senior editor, assistant editor and contributors. Assisted with the creation of a specialized sister site: Medical Tubing + Extrusion.
