BVMA is a backcountry ski guide service providing backcountry and Nordic instruction and guiding in the Sawatch Range near Buena Vista Colorado. We are the local ski guide service in the Arkansas River Valley, created and run by locals who have a passion for sharing the mountains with guests from the Front Range and around the world.

Led a staff of mountain guides in operating wilderness leadership and adventure programs. Planned and led an annual four-week mountain guide training program. Developed and implemented a successful marketing plan to promote Spring Canyon outdoor programs. Recruited and retained donors and mentors in support of programs.

Served as a long range planner on a team working to support the U.S. Special Operations Command in pursuit of Global War on Terror objectives.• Led multiple time sensitive planning efforts in a multi-agency, global environment

Led a staff of military and civilian planners and liaison officers in developing future plans and programs for Joint Special Operations Forces in the Global War on Terror. Conducted coordination with multiple military and U.S. Government organizations to implement new operational concepts. Lead multi-member planning teams to design and develop future plans to meet emerging global threats.

Led multiple organizations of special operations personnel in preparing for and executing operations in Africa and Afghanistan in support of the war on terror. Executed a budget of over $1.5 million while developing pre-deployment training programs and conducting detailed planning with multiple foreign governments and the U.S interagency.
