Unit 773rd Transportation Co. was select out of 25 units to lead up Combat Support Operations in Kuwait and Iraq for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom due to record breaking service during field exercises in 2002.Responsible for training and preparing 19 other combat support units in Kuwait during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Successfully executed first combat mission in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, March 2003 along with additional missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.Received several awards due to exemplary service in Kuwait and Iraq during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, including, Commendation medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal & the Combat Action badge.
