A career that began over 30 years ago has led me to become Director of International Training for the premier thought leader and training firm on the art of interviewing. As truth advocates, we at WZ teach investigators and leaders around the world a non-confrontational method of investigative interview, designed to mitigate resistance and encourage honesty. In my 20+ years with WZ I have provided training on six continents including a 20 month secondment in the UK during 2014/15 promoting the growth of WZ-EU as the Director of Webinar Training and WZ Europe and International Training for Wicklander-Zulawski & Assoc. In 2018 I led the charge to continue to expand our growth as we created a WZ EMEA Division, based in Dublin, Ireland.I have over 33 years of experience in the loss prevention and investigative fields having conducted numerous investigations for both private companies and public agencies. Over the years I have trained thousands of human resource, audit, loss prevention, security and law enforcement professionals on the art of Non-Confrontational interview and interrogation. I have lectured on university campuses and have a regular lecture with the Mendoza Business College on campus of The University of Notre Dame. I have provided interview training internationally, taking the WZ courses to six different continents, including conducting many seminars simultaneously translated into French, Spanish, German, Polish, Portuguese, Mandarin and Arabic.In my role at WZ, I have presented at several International Security and Loss Prevention conferences including:- National Retail Federation (NRF)- Canadian Association of Police Polygraphists- Retail Council of Canada (RCC)- Asociacion Nacional de Tiendas de Autoservicio y Departamentales (ANTAD)- American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS)- Organizacion Nacional de Empresas Comerciales (ONCE)- UK Retail Fraud- National Child Advocacy Conference (NCAC)- Department of State: Diplomatic Security Service Regional Security Office InvestigationsI am a regular guest instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center providing training to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of Professional Responsibility (ICE OPR), ICE Homeland Security Investigations (ICE HSI), the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security Services, and the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Criminal Investigator and Audit Academies, among others. I've even had the privilege and unique task of providing training at the United States Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan on several occasions.
