Speaking with our current Clients is crucial to the success of the business and its my role to ensure our Clients needs are met and any disputes, handled with the result of their needs being met, new debt loads will be provided. I am also responsible for the sales aspect of the business in insuring new Clients are introduced to the company and as a result of that, onboarded as a Client.

While maintaining relationships with our Clients is important, maintaining the relationships with our Clients customers who owe money is equally as important. My role as the Arrangements Team Manager is to ensure our Team are supported through training and guidance as this ensures a consistent flow of revenue through our payment arrangements which is another key component to the success of the business. I am also the point of escalation for complex customer complaints that are received through our IDR process.

I was responsible for the entire NSW Collections Team. My role was to ensure our operators were supported and achieved their daily KPI’s through the auditing of files, training, and performance management. I was involved in the handling and resolution of complex and difficult complaints that were received from customers and escalated to myself through our IDR process.

This role taught me the fundamentals of skip tracing and negotiating a fair and reasonable outcome for both our Clients and our Clients customers using an empathetic and professional approach. I was always a high achiever in this role which was measured using both the companies KPI’s and commission bonus structure.

My role as the Arrangements Officer was to ensure the companies payment arrangement portfolio was maintained by contacting and rectifying arrears with our Clients customers who had missed their scheduled payments. I gained a lot of my confidence in cold calling in this role given the high volume of contacts that needed to be made on a daily basis with a variety of customer’s.
