• Lead House Democratic lobbyist for a Fortune 25 health care company.• Educated Members of Congress and staff on the role of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) in the drug supply chain.• Developed the Biosimilars Competition Act, including drafting legislative language, building stakeholder endorsements, and coordinating industry legislative strategy.• Coordinated with a coalition of supply chain stakeholders to pass legislation requiring electronic prescribing of opioids in Medicare Part D. • Worked with company experts to develop a white paper and legislative proposal to reduce opioid abuse by TRICARE beneficiaries that was signed into law.

• Served as senior legislative and policy advisor to a senior Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and House Judiciary Committee covering health care, consumer protection, and judiciary issues.• Managed legislative team and interns, including overseeing the office constituent mail operation that sent more than 100,000 letters per year. • Advocated the Member’s position and priorities during Committee consideration of the Affordable Care Act.• Worked with a coalition of media industry stakeholders and free press advocates to pass through the House the Free Flow of Information Act in the 111th and 112th Congresses. • Led a coalition of telemedicine stakeholders and Members to advocate successfully for a CMS rule change to increase access to Medicare telemedicine services in rural areas. • Led the drafting, introduction, legislative, and Committee hearing strategy on several bills, including the Digital Goods and Services Tax Fairness Act, the Business Activity Tax Simplification Act, and the End Discriminatory State Taxes for Automobile Renters Act.
