• Ensure that all aspects of the site Safety/ Environmental Management Systems and Group Quality are adhered to at all times. • Actively promote Behavioural Safety at work observing and challenging unsafe acts and at the same time acknowledging positive behaviour • Appropriate corrective actions to be taken when required in the event of a non-conformance to the specification process. • Carry out 5S, 5C, Production, Line and Shift audits as well as Planned General inspections. • Take direct Line Management responsibilities for the shift operators, including their regular performance appraisals, Disciplinal, training needs and development. • Assume responsibility as the Senior Person on site out of hours. Key Achievements★ Introduced a successful Kanban system which improved production efficiencies★ Reduced the scrap levers on a product which gained a better profit margin and more efficiency on a production line ★ Introduced a segregation system for scrap reducing scrap to 80% over a 5 year period and eventually gaining a profit.

• Efficient running of an extruder and its systems including mixing for the extruder operator as required. • Effective and efficient relaying of relevant information to oncoming colleagues. • Actively participate in any/all continuous improvement activities currently running. • Share experience, Knowledge and best practice with all new operators and colleagues. • Demonstrate good housekeeping practice. • Ensure provided PPE is maintained and used as prescribed, replenished when necessary
