Barefoot Media is a busy PR and marketing agency, specialising in the festival, food and drink, travel, and property sectors.Responsibilities:Strategic lead on many agency’s accounts.Actively sourcing and securing new accounts for the agency.Line manager for junior team members and take a leading role in their development and coaching. Client experience includes Rock Oyster Festival, Padstow Christmas Festival, Harbour Brewing, Book Me Bob, Three Cheers Pub Co, The Great Estate.Assisting in managing the agency’s budget, P&L, and client invoicing.Achievements: Running award-winning campaigns, including double-gold at the CIPR Pride Awards for Be The Business.Consistently securing national-level coverage for small businesses.Developing the company’s digital PR offering.

Mexia was a full-service communications agency specialising in B2B events, technology and hospitality.Responsibilities:Managing up to six accounts at any one time, including strategic planning, implementation and reporting.Clients included tech startup sli.do, Guidebook, Eventsforce, Lord’s Cricket Ground, Central Hall Westminster, RIBA.Working with and developing junior members of the team.Achievements:I contributed integrally to several award-winning campaigns, including winning gold in the 'Corporate and Business Communications Campaign' category at the 2014 CIPR Pride awards. I assisted in developing a substantial content marketing service, incorporating social media management and content creation for inbound and outbound marketing, as well as traditional PR services. This expanded the scope of what could be delivered by Mexia, with solid content creation remaining at the heart of all activities.

Working in a busy music and arts press office, I was involved in all stages of each campaign, from initial planning to final reporting.Clients included Glen Matlock, Joe Brown, Dennis Locorrier and many more.A large proportion of time was spent in a media relations capacity, utilising and developing strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
