Growing up with three sisters as the only boy, I would say that I quickly learned the value of having thick skin and adaptability. I somehow endured the unending barrage of 3 -vs- 1 attacks and escaped largely unscathed. Having played competitive sports since childhood, I quickly learned the value of pushing yourself to the brink and then pushing even harder. I have learned to apply this to all facets of life, both personally and professionally. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, I support unconditionally the Birds, Bullies, Phils, and Sixers. Also a realist, I know that the years of disappointment only make moments like 2008/2017 that much sweeter. The desire to constantly discover and escape my comfort zone has taken me on many truly incredible journeys. I have lived in London with local students and attended their classes for a semester. I have golfed with my best friend on a rain-drenched course in Ireland. I had a romantic rendezvous under the Eifel Tower. I have visited the Acropolis and bungee-jumped in Greece. I leapt out of a plane and went free-falling towards the Gold Coast in Australia. I have been inside the Forbidden City and trekked across the Great Wall of China. I have spent countless hours in museums in Amsterdam, smoked Cuban cigars in Havana, glacier hiked through Iceland, and shouted "PROST!" while clinking glasses with friends at Oktoberfest.Each morning, I wake up and see two quotes that I try to live by framed on my wall:"Where is your mountain and are you climbing it?" and "Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must first set yourself on fire."My mountain is personal and professional success.
