UAE Exchange Zambia Money Transfer Services LtdResponsible for providing financial advice and support to work colleagues, senior managers, and company clients to enable them to make sound business decisions.Duties and Responsibilities:• Managing and improving the company's entire financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.• Ensuring all month end journals are posted in a timely and accurate way with appropriate supporting information.• Playing a strategic role in managing the company’s finances, budgets and associated business interests. • Liaising as appropriate with a range of internal and external stakeholders & responding to their needs accordingly. • Helping the business to respond in an agile and flexible manner to any business opportunities that may arise. • Negotiating & working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on issues of mutual financial concern. • Continuously reviewing the company's financial processes, procedures and systems.• Monitoring the company's cash flows and ensuring timely remittance funding to GHQ.• Delivering the reporting needs of a busy operational finance department.• Ensuring that tax requirements are met on a timely basis.• Preparing robust monthly management accounts on a timely basis.• Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements and management accounts.• Payroll and fixed assets management

Duties:  Prepared Financial Statements, management accounts and posting of transactions to relevant ledgers  Prepared monthly management reports for management Payroll Management Posted all accounts transaction journals i.e. Suppliers, salaries, claims and general ledgers  Prepared bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations. Maintained the fixed asset register of the Company and ensured that it was up-to-date and that all assets were coded, tally with appropriate ledgers in the system and calculating depreciation. Participated in budgeting, investment, internal control designing and credit control decisions.  Collaborate extensively with both external and internal auditors during preliminary and year-end audit processes Assisted in developing and implementing internal controls to ensure efficient and effective finance function Ensured that all statutory payments such as NAPSA, PAYE, withholding tax, VAT, Pensions and Insurance Authority levy and Company tax were accounted for accurately and paid in time.
