Chris Pittard has been in construction all of his life. He started at a very young age following his grandfather around the yard of a ready-mix concrete company in Tucker, Georgia. It was a company his grandfather founded in 1959. In 1990, his father became President of the Company and when Chris graduated from the University of Georgia in 1992, he went to work as a Plant Manager for Tucker Concrete Company, learning the organization from the ground up. After several years, he became the first Human Resources Director for the Corporation, eventually managing over 200 employees in 7 locations. During his time at TUCCO, the company increased revenues from $5 million annually to $55 million.In late 2001 Chris went out on his own and purchased majority shares of Bartimaeus Inc., located in Lawrenceville GA. He used his knowledge learned from his grandfather and father, and took a ground- up approach to the tricky environment of commercial subcontracting. Under his leadership, the company grew significantly serving residential home builders and general contractors across the southeastern US. The company won several awards for service and success during that time, including a winner of the inaugural class of the Bulldog 100, representing UGA alumni as one of the fastest growing businesses.In 2017 Chris negotiated the asset sale of Bartimaeus and the company merged with a flooring contractor in Atlanta, Pro Floors LLC, and started the subsidiary Vision Blinds LLC. Vision Blinds has steadily become a major force in commercial sub-contracting with steady growth and unmatched service.In 2022 Chris became the Sales Director for Georgia and Alabama with Integris Solutions, providing complete lighting packages for multi-family housing projects.
