Licensed Aircraft Engineer, B2 Avionics
Current• Line Maintenance Support Engineer (Avionics) – Daily technical operations of Emirates Boeing 777 and Airbus A330/A340/A380 operation (CAR Part 145). Management of shift avionics maintenance team activities to ensure tasks are completed on time whilst maintaining strict airworthiness, compliance and safety standards.• Coordinate with scheduling and maintenance planning teams (CAR Part M) to ensure adequate maintenance ground time for both scheduled maintenance activities and AOG defect rectifications, whilst meeting airline on-time performance targets. • Technical focal for avionics team with in-depth troubleshooting, defect analysis, and issuance of maintenance recommendations for rectification of aircraft MEL, AOG and non-airworthiness defects. Proficient with technical documentation and publications. • Liase with aircraft manufacturers to provide maintenance staff with relevant maintenance data for execution of avionics maintenance and repair.• B2 Practical Assessor (CAR Part 145). Engage with trainees and junior mechanics for technical training purposes, and carry out practical assessment for development, promotion and performance management.• Daily on job training to develop technicians through instruction, coaching and feedback, ensuring technical competence and establishing best practice behaviour.• Technical Representative for Emirates Airline to oversee the final testing and technical acceptance of new aircraft from manufacturing facility, Hamburg, Germany.
