I have an insatiable appetite for technology and creating ‘cool things’.I have worked on a broad spectrum of software and hardware projects. I’ve authored several acclaimed computer games, worked on large scale software projects, built hardware, created mobile device apps, and enjoyed being part of a successful startup.I’ve extensive experience in the identity, security and networking spaces from working at Cisco on products like XDR, Identity Services Engine and Access Control Server products.I have production experience of developing for AWS and Azure cloud services as well as experience in most of the mainstream computer languages (Typescript/Javascript, C#, C/C++, Swift, Java, Python, even assembler). I am comfortable developing for cloud services as well as mobile platforms, on-prem and client/server systems on a variety of operating systems.I am big fan of AI and AI code generation with Copilot and ChatGPT.I have great debugging and technical support skills, having supported products for years.I am constantly building new IoT projects (to my wife’s annoyance) and can design certain hardware as well as the software. I am a strong team leader, architect and engineer. I believe in leading by example and know how to motivate and grow team members. What rings my bell? Being in a great team working on something challenging but meaningful. My current interests are in AI , identity and security trends.Leadership* Accomplished team leader and developer* Big picture thinker, identifies opportunities* Drive projects from start to finish* Good motivator, leads by example* Communicate at different levels* Project management, Agile methodology* Accustomed to pressure and multiple time zones* ‘No problem is too hard’ attitudeDevelopment* Cloud services development* Client/server and mobile app development* Broad security knowledge* Broad networking knowledge* Multiple language and OS experience* Proficient in good algorithm design* Excellent problem diagnosis* Large scale and distributed systems* Real time systems
