I designed, developed, and coded the StreetTeam.com website, which currently serves as a grassroots marketing option for Eclipse, and several other record labels. Product Manager / Label Acquisition (2000-2002) - I sought out established record companies of all genres (domestic & international), solicited them to sign on with us as their exclusive North American distributor, and negotiated the terms of their distribution contract with label managers and their attorneys. Upon execution of the distribution contract, I acted as their primary go-to person for all their marketing/product interactions with the company. I would be responsible for processing their new releases into our distribution system, relaying press & marketing information to our sales reps, procuring co-op marketing & positioning programs at retail, and also sales analysis on each label's product line. Marketing Director (1998-2000) - I was responsible for design & production of the monthly new release books, which were then mailed out to over 3,000 retail accounts, music buyers, and onestops. I consulted with almost 50 different distributed record labels, maintaining production of their releases, ensuring all manufacturing elements were received and provided to the CD manufacturer in time to meet street date. I personally oversaw between 30-50 new releases each month. I was also responsible for submitting & maintaining metadata for the entire distributed catalog (approximately 25,000 SKUs) at all major chain, onestop, and mass merchandiser databases. Show less
