I’m a qualified accountant, with both executive and non-executive board level experience. I was an audit partner at PwC, where I was on the board of PwC’s Polish delivery centre (roughly 2,000 employees) and also attended and presented at many audit committee meetings at my audit clients. I have specialist skills in managing technology risk and cyber security, and the audit of internal controls - at PwC, I advised many boards on these topics, including some of the UK’s largest financial services providers. I retired from PwC in July 2021, and have since taken on a portfolio of non-executive roles (on boards, audit or risk committees). I’m a trustee and the Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for the Royal Institution of Great Britain, and a non-executive director of the Buckinghamshire Building Society. I’m a visiting senior lecturer for Royal Holloway, University of London. For nine years I focused on the digital transformation of PwC’s audits, overseeing the firm’s technology and offshoring activities, including representing the UK on relevant global governance bodies.
