Chris is a serial entrepreneur and technology investor with a string of successful exits. He is chairman of Added Value Capital Partners which helps build the high growth companies of tomorrow, mentoring senior management and entrepreneurs and assisting them in creating and driving forward their strategies.After building two Cambridge start‐ups Chris worked in IT services becoming Director of International Operations at Rhone Poulenc Systemes in Paris. He returned to the UK to create 3C Communications, a venture jointly owned by the Kinnevik and Millicom groups, pioneering the introduction of self‐service payments in car parking, which rapidly achieved market leadership. Chris went on to head up two more payments technology businesses, leading a successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange at Cardcast Plc. Since then he has been a partner at European venture capital investor Alice Ventures and built up his own investment operation and business accelerator in Cambridge, focusing on clean technology and energy storage.Chris holds an engineering degree from Bristol University and a London Business School MBA. He was an early member of Cambridge Angels.
