I founded fluidli, Chicago's first Storytelling Agency, to help businesses transform their brands into narratives and their marketing into storytelling. During my experience building a marketing department from scratch for one of the city's fastest growing companies (Crain's Fast 50 five consecutive years), I designed and deployed an integrated strategy focused on finding and engaging prospects for the business, mainly through content marketing.Built a website and then, with a search optimized blog, grew website traffic from basically 0 to thousands of qualified visits per month around business-related keywords.Rolled out a social marketing presence across Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Flickr: hundreds of subscribers for Twitter and LinkedIn each; tens of thousands of views on YouTube and Flickr. For Flickr, in the first year, drove over 60,000 views.Rolled out event marketing, funneling hundreds of prospects into the sales pipeline yearly at monthly events like lunch and learns, golf tournaments, etc.Designed and produced a monthly newsletter called "Tech To-Go," growing the subscriber list in under a year to 200+.Produced 20+ testimonials/success stories/case studies in video, PDF and print format.Managed direct mail/microsite campaigns quarterly that targeted 300+ prospects, and converted 3 - 8 first meetings with decision makers.
