My career to date has given me a wide range of expertise in the healthcare and scientific fields and I am now using all of the skills, experience, and connections I have made throughout my career as an Insights Manager in the medical device industry.I originally trained as a nurse at Cardiff University, followed by a period of clinical practice. However, during my time as a ward nurse within the NHS I quickly became interested the development of novel medical therapies and devices. I retrained in Biotechnology at Ulster University, and Infection and Immunology at Queens University Belfast before completing my PhD in Pharmaceutics and Microbiology at Ulster University. The skills I have gained both as a nurse and a scientist are now serving me well as an Insights Manager.
