I've been an enterprise software sales engineer selling to the Fortune 500 for over 20 years, getting hands-on as much as possible. I have a passion for learning new software and working with customers to demonstrate its value. I develop and deliver hands-on customer-facing workshops and Proof-of-Values using Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Observability Cloud (formerly SignalFx). I am credentialed as a Splunk Certified Architect and AWS Cloud Practitioner. I have extensive hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure), cloud-native software (Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps frameworks), Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), Digital Experience Management (DEM), and Linux/Windows. Over my career, I have learned many software technologies from Java to application servers to Splunk Enterprise to Cloud Native technology, and helped customers learn and evaluate the solution that is right for them.
