• Experienced with the integration of Distribution Automation products and system solutions, include RTU/IED SCADA communication and device qualification. Hands on commissioning various power grid distribution system equipment such as Recloser, Lateral Recloser, Communicating Line Monitor, Sectionalizer, Underground Switchgear, Voltage Regulator controller and Capacitor bank controller for BC Hydro project.• Tested BC Hydro's pilot FLISR (Fault Location, Isolation and Service Restoration) pole yard project with Schneider's Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) and various Reclosers controller such as Schneider ADVC, Eaton Form 6 and S&C Intellirupter, familiar with loop automation and Volt-Var Optimization.• Planned, designed and setup multi hop depth RF mesh network test bed and performed various testing including RF sensitivity, network layer conformance, device software application, functional and interoperability testing with various Smart Grid devices such as LED street light controller, demand response device, advanced smart meter and Distribution Automation Gateway IR510. This lab scale integrated test bed evaluated and tested the proof of concept for BC Hydro clients by integrating new mesh devices into the current SMI network.• Tested Smart Grid IPv6 NAN system in order to measure traffic capacity and validate network utilization in SMI RF mesh network including RFC2544 testing.• Configured various Cisco Smart Grid network devices such as IR509, CGR and ASR• Created professional test plans and test reports
