    I developed a real-time back-projection algorithm for velocity map imaging, using the method outlined in C. Bordas (Rev. Sci. Instrum. 67, 2257 (1996)). In addition to revising the inversion code, I re-designed the Labview interface that is used to acquire and process the images. This allowed our group to use the kinetic energy release and angle as feedback for the genetic algorithm. I worked with Dr. Eric Wells.
