As a Health and Safety Technician at East Penn Manufacturing, my primary responsibility is to ensure compliance of East Penn employees to OSHA Safety Standards. Additionally, I recognize, evaluates, and suggests controls for occupational health and safety hazards as well as conduct accident investigations and suggests recommendations toward corrective action such as workplace design, new invention, or employee action. The regulatory audits that I perform include: routine lead in air monitoring, respirator fit tests, ventilation surveys, blood lead consultations, and noise measurements within assigned plants. I also provide additional support through job cross-training in ERT, Hazmat, and Emergency Response.
