I started at DMWR as an associate to help set up a brand new Manchester office within the company in early 2015, working in a small team to build and strengthen the company’s position in the north of the country. I also took on the role as the company BIM manager. As the BIM manager within the company group I was responsible for helping to drive the company forward from their current knowledge of Revit and BIM, Helping to set up company standards and increase the knowledge of BIM across the offices. I am also responsible for technical delivery of projects for the Manchester office and to assist with technical support to the Manchester team.

Starting at pozzoni as a senior architectural technologist within the Care Sector team of 10-15 people, with a practice of between 75-100 peoples, I was soon appointed as a REVIT and BIM champion for the practice, and helped to provide support and assistance. Also working closely with the practice BIM manager to help increase the standards within the company. I was also appointed a Technical Champion and was responsible for preforming technical review on tender and construction packages throughout the office prior to them being sent out.My main roles were project based as a senior architectural technologist working on projects within the care team, working on a variety of care homes, care villages, extra care housing schemes and housing association schemes. During these projects the main roles involved, modelling up feasibility schemes into Revit, producing construction and tender packages as well as liaison with contractors, sub-contractors and project consultants delivering the projects up to completion and providing Revit and BIM project support throughout the project.Bringing my previous experience of working within both the design and construction work stages, I was able to deliver some award winning schemes within the practice using my knowledge and keen eye for detailed design to help refine and enhance feasibility and concept schemes and take them through to completion.

Starting as a junior apprentice architectural technologist and completing an ONC and HNC in building studies, I worked my way up from a junior up to a senior technologist over a period of 11years. Working for a small practice of 15-20people, I learnt a wide range of skills working on a variety of projects in different sectors. During the last few year at Howard and Seddon I mainly worked on a variety of high end luxury dwelling for private clients. My roles within the company consisted of all aspect of the design process from site surveying, design concepts, planning packages, building regulation and tender packages, construction detailing and leasing with contractors and sub-contractor through to completion. Working for this small practice allowed me to experience and hone my skills in both design and construction packages on a varied array of projects which has benefitted me greatly in my later roles.
