Operations Manager
Current- Manage and lead an Operational Team through clear communication and manage priority tasks filtered through the programme projects. - Build positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners, to support the delivery of improved digital inclusion, capabilities and innovation projects and schemes and strengthening transformation. - Deliver, manage, and support a range of projects and schemes at all stages of the project cycle. - Accountable for the performance of designated projects and schemes, preparing papers, reports, analysis, evaluation, communication by taking a flexible and proactive approach. - Manage financial controls on budgeted projects and schemes. Support with the processing of purchase orders, invoices and goods receipting and maintaining accurate records of income and expenditure.- Record, monitor and evaluate the impact of projects and schemes. Collate, analyse and interpret data and information to improve practice, identifying trends, gaps and solutions.- Make strategic decision-making throughout the various stages of the project/scheme and ensure effective briefing of stakeholders.- Manage, develop, monitor and improve the programmes visibility through a variety of methods. Including (not limited to) web presence, social media, marketing campaigns and key strategic communications.- Manage the administration of financial controls relating to income and expenditure, in accordance with financial regulations and directorate procedures. Including management of procurement, processing orders, purchase transactions, invoices, goods receiving and monitoring expenditure.- Manage a comprehensive business support function for the programme, acting as a central point for enquiries for the team for both internal and external customers, professionals and the public.- Managing, developing and improving established projects/schemes, responsible for leading on supplier relationships and monitoring performance.
