Provided legal and policy advice, analysis, and guidance to the Register of Copyrights on copyright law issues relating to the full range of Copyright Office programs and operations, including the registration, recordation, mandatory deposit, and licensing programs.

Practice focused primarily on the media and entertainment industries, including radio, television, music, books, and newspapers. Representative matters include the government's review of the proposed Google Book Search settlement, the Comcast/NBC Universal merger, ongoing oversight of the ASCAP and BMI consent decrees, and related music licensing matters.
